Hello again,
I try to solve some problems with a DOORS server-client connection currently with a SSL connection. See my thread about the basic problem: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=14250841&tstart=0 .
We use a NETGEAR router with the DOORS Server behind on another machine.
-
The router captures client calls to "doors 1025@195.168.05" with an ActiveX control in the Internet Explorer 8 and forwards them to the router (port 443).
-
The router forwards the call to the server and returns the response back to the client (both via port triggering).
This works fine for other application, like the MySQL database. So I can believe the configuration works well. Using this configuration with DOORS ends up with the following message by the DOORS client:
DOORS report
Cannot connect to server 1025@195.168.05
Data not ready at TCP/IP socket
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
